There is an annual participation fee, and parents are encouraged to attend Center activities and required to participate in fundraisers;
COLLEGE PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES: From September to June, Center staff works with parents, mentors, tutors, and other community volunteers to help students gain admission to a college of their choosing and to anticipate and prepare them for the decisions, challenges, temptations, choices, and skills required to succeed. Center activities include:

Inviting speakers representing a variety of careers;
-
Tutoring and mentoring students;
-
Sponsoring Skills Workshops to improve communication, critical thinking, decision making, studying, writing and research skills, testing-taking, and social interaction.
